Al-Ittihad narrowly avoided a draw against visiting Damac, securing a dramatic 2-1 victory at home in stoppage time during Matchday 32 of the Saudi Roshn League. 
Houssem Aouar gave the hosts the lead in the 24th minute by slotting home a rebound from Moussa Diaby’s shot. However, Al-Ittihad’s performance dipped as Damac pushed forward, eventually equalizing 15 minutes before full time through Yako Miete. Just when it seemed the points would be shared, Abdulaziz Al-Bishi snatched all three for his side with a goal in the 94th minute. 
This victory lifted Al-Ittihad to fifth place in the table with 52 points, level on points with Al-Taawoun. It is worth noting that the top three teams in the league earn direct qualification to the AFC Champions League, while the fourth and fifth-placed sides must compete in preliminary rounds for a spot in the continental tournament.
