“First of all, I want to congratulate Lokomotiv-Kuban — they deserved to win today. They had the will to win and fought harder than we did. I think we created good shot opportunities, and our shooters were in good positions. But when we started missing, we reacted poorly to those situations, and that mainly hurt our defensive focus.

We now need to go back to the drawing board and see what we can adjust for the next game. I hope we’ll get even more support from our fans. We want to see a bigger crowd in the arena, because this is the playoffs, this is the semifinals, and we need full stands,” Pistiolis said, as quoted on the official VTB United League website.
