Hollywood actor Chris Pratt has weighed in on Sean Strickland’s win over Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of UFC 328.
“Go Strickland! The weight cut looked too tough for Khamzat!? Strickland was so good in the second round! What a fight! USA!” Pratt wrote on his X social media account.
The bout ended with a split decision victory for the American — 47-48, 48-47, 48-47. Sean Strickland’s professional mixed martial arts record now stands at 31 wins (16 finishes) and seven losses. The American fighter made his MMA debut in March 2008.
As for Chimaev, his record moves to 15 wins and one loss in 16 professional bouts, marking his first career defeat.
The loss raises questions about Chimaev’s weight management and psychological approach after the first round.
