Austin Reaves shared how LeBron James lifted his spirits after a crucial miss in the Lakers’ 110-115 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 of the NBA playoff second round. The defeat eliminated Los Angeles from the postseason with a 0-4 sweep.
“LeBron has helped me so much throughout my career. He encourages me every day,” Reaves said postgame. “After I missed the game-tying three, he told me, ‘That was a great shot. You should be proud of yourself.'”
Reaves finished the game with 27 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks, shooting 8-of-16 from the field. Despite his strong performance, the Lakers could not overcome the Thunder’s balanced attack.
