FC Barcelona was crowned champion of LaLiga EA Sports 2025/26 this Sunday. Following an almost flawless domestic campaign, the city is preparing to celebrate another league title that extends the club’s historic record of trophies in Spain.
To date, Barcelona has lifted 29 La Liga titles, three of which have been achieved in the last four seasons. Under Hansi Flick, the Blaugrana team has won two out of the two leagues contested so far, an unbeaten streak that has solidified Barça as the dominant force in Spanish domestic football in recent times.

With their 29th league title, Barça becomes the second-most decorated club in the competition’s history. They now trail only Real Madrid, who hold 36 titles, the highest in history. Atlético Madrid stands further behind with 11 trophies, followed by Athletic Club with eight. Other clubs with league titles include Valencia (6), Real Sociedad (2), Deportivo de La Coruña (1), Sevilla (1), and Betis (1, from 1935).
Despite still savoring this season’s success, Hansi Flick’s squad is not stopping. They already have their sights set on a 30th league title, which could be achieved next season, with Flick continuing at the helm for at least one more year.
